Positive Futures Youth Program

The Positive Futures Youth Program (PFYP) is for those adolescents who have been served by mentoring in elementary and middle school.  PFYP empowers disadvantaged youth with opportunities to develop their academic and social skills so they successfully complete high school and develop a plan for the future.  Given that the youth are now in high school, the staff member working with the youth is called a “Success Coach.”  The Success Coach tailors an annual work plan for each child, based on his/her strengths and needs. The work plan is developed in coordination with parents, teachers, school counselors, social workers, and other professionals.
